class=\"avia_textblock\"><p><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">TechTribe strives to maintain a good business culture and discourage corruption and other irregularities.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">So-called whistleblowers play a central role in protecting and promoting important values in a democratic society, such as openness and transparency.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The TechTribea Whistleblower Channel is part of our efforts to prevent and detect wrongdoing and to protect whistleblowers who report wrongdoing.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Via TechTribe&#8217;s whistleblower channel, whistleblowers can report wrongdoing and irregularities within TechTribe, without having to worry about negative consequences.<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/div><\/section><div class=\"av-special-heading av-lpqkrnuy-3e6e5363e564116f071f42105b8a321a av-special-heading-h3 blockquote modern-quote avia-builder-el-7 el_after_av_textblock el_before_av_textblock \"><h3 class=\"av-special-heading-tag\">What can be reported?<\/h3><\/div><section class=\"av_textblock_section av-lpqkw6lu-46824487d53ad58e6194daa4eb848791 \"><div class=\"avia_textblock\"><p><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Whistleblowing must relate to misconduct that there is a public interest in their coming to light.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The information must therefore concern the public and not the reporting person&#8217;s own working or employment conditions.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Relationships concerning an individual may in some cases be of public interest if, for example, it concerns repeated or systematic violations that can be considered unacceptable from a broader societal perspective.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Violations of internal regulations such as codes of conduct may in some cases be of public interest.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/p><p><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Whistleblowing may also refer to violations of certain EU rules and Swedish rules that implement or supplement EU rules.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The EU rules covered are listed in Annex 1 to Directive (EU) 2019\/1936 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 October 2019 on the protection of persons reporting breaches of Union law, which is available <a href=\"https:\/\/www.riksdagen.se\/sv\/dokument-lagar\/dokument\/svensk-forfattningssamling\/sakerhetsskyddslag-2018585_sfs-2018-585\">here<\/a>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/p><p><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The reporting person does not need to have actual evidence, but reasonable apprehension or suspicion is sufficient.<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/div><\/section><div class=\"av-special-heading av-lpqkrti6-769e096c4ea1cee57c7c7d2f5891e266 av-special-heading-h3 blockquote modern-quote avia-builder-el-9 el_after_av_textblock el_before_av_textblock \"><h3 class=\"av-special-heading-tag\">What should not be reported?<\/h3><\/div><section class=\"av_textblock_section av-lpqkxxpl-f01baa962b9620d78134bf2cd32af40d \"><div class=\"avia_textblock\"><p>The reporting channels shall not be used for:<\/p><ul><li><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">General expressions of dissatisfaction.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Such matters must be communicated to the immediate manager.<\/span><\/span><\/li><li>Reporting of security classified information under the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.riksdagen.se\/sv\/dokument-lagar\/dokument\/svensk-forfattningssamling\/sakerhetsskyddslag-2018585_sfs-2018-585\">Security Protection Act (2018:585) <\/a>or other information related to national security.<\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/section><div class=\"av-special-heading av-lpqkrzuq-2dfbb9bcb61e5fb2f27af73b423d863f av-special-heading-h3 blockquote modern-quote avia-builder-el-11 el_after_av_textblock el_before_av_textblock \"><h3 class=\"av-special-heading-tag\">Who can report and get protection<\/h3><\/div><section class=\"av_textblock_section av-lpqkyk0i-c571939f3603fa5fe82a0261821cc460 \"><div class=\"avia_textblock\"><p><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The people protected by the Whistleblower Act are people with a so-<i>called work-related<\/i> connection to the business.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">It is a question of employees or other persons who in one way or another are active in or in connection with the business where the misconduct occurs.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">It also includes part-time employees, job seekers and people who have ended their employment.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The reporting person indicates belonging to the circle of persons in connection with reporting.<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/div><\/section><div class=\"av-special-heading av-lpqks5o5-7404e5d9b953690be174515d6eb112b4 av-special-heading-h3 blockquote modern-quote avia-builder-el-13 el_after_av_textblock el_before_av_textblock \"><h3 class=\"av-special-heading-tag\">What the protection means<\/h3><\/div><section class=\"av_textblock_section av-lpqle09z-75101385817140a2cc81717f381c5ee7 \"><div class=\"avia_textblock\"><p><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The protection prohibits TechTribe from a) preventing or attempting to prevent reporting and, as a result of reporting, taking b) retaliation.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The protection also consists in c) freedom from liability and the right to damages in case of violation of the prohibitions.<\/span><\/span><\/p><ol><li><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Obstructive measures can consist of the operator offering a benefit for someone not to consult with their employee organisation.<\/span><\/span><\/li><li><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Retaliation is, for example, dismissal, non-promotion, changed duties, changed workplace, salary reduction and changed working hours.<\/span><\/span><\/li><li><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Protection in the form of freedom from liability means that whoever, by blowing the whistle according to the law, violates a duty of confidentiality cannot be held liable for having violated the duty of confidentiality.<\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ol><p>For protection in the form of freedom from liability, it is required that the reporting person had reasonable grounds to assume that the reporting of the particular information covered by the duty of confidentiality was necessary to reveal the misconduct.<\/p><div class=\"lRu31\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Exemption from liability is not granted in the event of a willful breach of the duty of confidentiality which, according to the Publicity and Secrecy Act (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.riksdagen.se\/sv\/dokument-lagar\/dokument\/svensk-forfattningssamling\/offentlighets--och-sekretesslag-2009400_sfs-2009-400\">OSL<\/a>), restricts the right to communicate and publish information in accordance with the Freedom of the Press Ordinance or the Freedom of Expression Act, so-called<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">qualified confidentiality, or breach of confidentiality according to the Act (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.riksdagen.se\/sv\/dokument-lagar\/dokument\/svensk-forfattningssamling\/offentlighets--och-sekretesslag-2009400_sfs-2009-400\">1971:1078<\/a>) on defense inventions.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div class=\"lRu31\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Exemption from liability is also not granted when a reporting person gives out documents.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Exemption from liability, on the other hand, applies if the reporting person verbally or otherwise reports information from a document without disclosing the document.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/div><div class=\"lRu31\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">If the reporting person commits a crime through the collection of information, the person is not protected.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Crimes that can typically be committed during acquisition are theft, trespassing, data breach, espionage or unauthorized position with secret information.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div><div class=\"OvtS8d\">\u00a0<\/div><div class=\"UdTY9 WdefRb\" aria-hidden=\"true\" data-location=\"2\">\u00a0<\/div><\/div><\/section><div class=\"av-special-heading av-lpqkscst-57502f7d26eded72e9b2a2e99f2bc510 av-special-heading-h3 blockquote modern-quote avia-builder-el-15 el_after_av_textblock el_before_av_textblock \"><h3 class=\"av-special-heading-tag\">Who administers the whistleblower system?<\/h3><\/div><section class=\"av_textblock_section av-lpqljb7j-969b714e5e22c9bea19ea78630830596 \"><div class=\"avia_textblock\"><p><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">TechTribe&#8217;s reporting channel is a secure system provided by TechTribe independent party Freja Partner (&#8221;Freja&#8221;).<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Freja&#8217;s whistleblower service is completely independent from TechTribe&#8217;s intranet and external website and can receive reports 24 hours a day.<\/span><\/span><\/p><p><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The reporting person can choose to report anonymously or to appear with their personal data.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">No account registration is needed to make a report, but it facilitates further investigation of the case and\/or follow-up of the case&#8217;s status.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">To ensure the reporting person&#8217;s anonymity, Freja does not save IP addresses or other metadata.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The system also protects the report and any information about the person or persons whose identity appears in the report.<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/div><\/section><div class=\"av-special-heading av-lpqksiv6-f3aa3983a5e224363f95a6c233a1f582 av-special-heading-h3 blockquote modern-quote avia-builder-el-17 el_after_av_textblock el_before_av_textblock \"><h3 class=\"av-special-heading-tag\">How is reporting done?<\/h3><\/div><section class=\"av_textblock_section av-lpqlkbsr-8494fe3de7f5a944d64d690155b95273 \"><div class=\"avia_textblock\"><ol><li><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">A report is submitted by the person who wants to report filling in an electronic form in Freja&#8217;s Whistleblowing Service.<\/span><\/span><\/li><li><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">If the reporting person wishes to continue the dialogue and\/or follow the status of the case, the reporting person is assigned a unique case number and password to be able to follow the case <\/span><\/span><\/li><li><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Freja&#8217;s Whistleblowing Service.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The data needs to be saved securely.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Freja&#8217;s reception unit receives the case (and confirms receipt if the person who reported created an account for further contact or provided contact information in another way).<\/span><\/span><\/li><li><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">An initial assessment of the case is made.<\/span><\/span><\/li><li><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The report and the initial assessment are forwarded to the elected representatives within TechTribe for further handling and action planning.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Freja ensures that a report is not forwarded to anyone within <\/span><\/span><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">TechTribe affected by the report.<\/span><\/span><\/li><li><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">TechTribe will decide on any action.<\/span><\/span><\/li><li><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Feedback is provided to the person who reported, if the person created an account or provided contact information in another way.<\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ol><\/div><\/section><div data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"button.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-button-wrapper\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<a elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"fd915e7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"av-special-heading av-lpqkstsy-623554eb7efa51d031d7ac833714f4af av-special-heading-h3 blockquote modern-quote avia-builder-el-21 el_after_av_textblock el_before_av_textblock \"><p>Right to confirmation and feedback<\/p><\/div><section class=\"av_textblock_section av-lpqlmhyc-c32dc1ef7b0fd0a1387b7cc4dafc4c7b \"><div class=\"avia_textblock\"><p><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The reporting person receives a confirmation from Freja that the report has been received within seven days unless the reporting person has waived this confirmation or if there is reason to believe that a confirmation would reveal the person&#8217;s identity.<\/span><\/span><\/p><p><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Freja will provide reasonable feedback to the reporting person as to what actions have been taken and why within three months of receiving a report (or if no acknowledgment of receipt has been provided, seven days of receiving the report).<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/div><\/section><div class=\"av-special-heading av-lpqkt18e-4dee8c2d7ec0d11705a25f8b08598772 av-special-heading-h3 blockquote modern-quote avia-builder-el-23 el_after_av_textblock el_before_av_textblock \"><h3 class=\"av-special-heading-tag\">Different ways to report misconduct<\/h3><\/div><section class=\"av_textblock_section av-lpqloh7e-8d0f8723afd5cdf6ca90d0e249638200 \"><div class=\"avia_textblock\"><p><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">TechTribe&#8217;s whistleblower channel is not intended to replace other reporting channels, but functions as a complement to these.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The person who wants to report a misconduct can himself choose the reporting channel that is most appropriate depending on the circumstances and his own assessment of the risk of reprisals.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Other possible channels are:<\/span><\/span><\/p><ul><li>Internal reporting in other ways (for example immediate manager),<\/li><li><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Other external whistleblower channels.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The government has appointed a number of authorities that, through external reporting channels, must receive, follow up and provide feedback on reports of misconduct within their designated area of responsibility.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The full list of responsible authorities can be found below in the Ordinance on the Protection of Persons Reporting Misconduct (2021:949).<\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div><div class=\"avia_textblock\"><p><strong style=\"background-color: transparent; font-size: 1rem; color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.riksdagen.se\/sv\/dokument-lagar\/dokument\/svensk-forfattningssamling\/forordning-2021949-om-skydd-for-personer-som_sfs-2021-949\">Ordinance (2021:949) on the protection of persons who report misconduct.<\/a><\/strong><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><\/div><\/section>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-43e311fb elementor-section-content-middle elementor-hidden-desktop elementor-hidden-tablet elementor-hidden-mobile
